Boing! Boing! Boing!

Okay, call me strange, but I just bought a pair of Kangoo Jumps! These may look weird and make me look taller than my 6'4 husband when wearing, but they are SOOOOOOOO fun! I saw them on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club (yes, I admit, I watch it), so I researched them on the Internet. They retail for over $200 for the "basic" model and are all the rage in Europe and Australia. I went on eBay and got them ( not the basic--better) for around 45 dollars! Brand New, still in box etc. I just got them yesterday and jumped around for about 15 minutes. TALK ABOUT A WORKOUT! BUT A FUN WORKOUT! I didnt want to take them off, but my feet needed a break.

They are like being on a trampoline/pogo stick/ ??? You'd have to experience it to understand. All I can say is it was a good investment and will help to mix things up and motivate me to workout in a different way!!! :-) They look very odd, but I don't care. Maybe the novelty will wear off, but at least I didn't spend a fortune on them! Have YOU ever seen these before?

WOW!!! KANGOOS!!!! Olive was VERY EXCITED!!! hahaha

"Kangoo Jumps are low impact rebound sport shoes designed to provide a safe platform for jogging and other exercises that are notoriously hard on the joints. Originally developed in Switzerland for joggers, Kangoo Jumps also provide benefits for athletic strengthening and conditioning, rehabilitation and injury prevention, games, or just plain fun. The unique floating sensation created by Kangoo Jumps has to be experienced to be understood. The Jumps deliver the benefit of 50 minutes exercise in only 20 minutes and the injury prevention potential has already caught the attention of several elite football teams. The boots can be used indoors or outdoors on paved roads, dirt paths and grass as well as at the beach or on snow." I like the part about 50 minutes of exercise in only 20 minutes!

Serious Swee' Pea! "What are you lookin'at?"

While we were outside with the Kangoo Jumps, Olive let me know she was ready to swim. Olive cannot wait to get in the pool and has been bugging me lately about it! hahaha Still to cold, honey! She is anxiously awaiting--seriously. Everyday she just stands between the jacuzzi and pool and stares at me or barks for her life preserver (bulldogs will sink unless they wear one!)!!

I want to see a video of you on those things. They look cool, but I think I wouldn't be able to stop laughing.
